mips: implement the new page table range API

Rename _PFN_SHIFT to PFN_PTE_SHIFT. Convert a few places to call set_pte() instead of set_pte_at(). Add set_ptes(), update_mmu_cache_range(), flush_icache_pages() and flush_dcache_folio(). Change the PG_arch_1 (aka PG_dcache_dirty) flag from being per-page to per-folio. MIPS&LoongArch&NIOS2: adjust prototypes of p?d_init()

Patch series "mm/sparse-vmemmap: Generalise helpers and enable for LoongArch", v14. This series is in order to enable sparse-vmemmap for LoongArch. But LoongArch cannot use generic helpers directly because MIPS&LoongArch need to call pgd_init()/pud_init()/pmd_init() when populating page tables. So we adjust the prototypes of p?d_init() to make generic helpers can call them, then enable sparse-vmemmap with generic helpers, and to be further, generalise vmemmap_populate_hugepages() for ARM64, X86 and LoongArch. This patch (of 4): We are preparing to add sparse vmemmap support to LoongArch. MIPS and LoongArch need to call pgd_init()/pud_init()/pmd_init() when populating page tables, so adjust their prototypes to make generic helpers can call them. NIOS2 declares pmd_init() but doesn't use, just remove it to avoid build errors. MIPS: do not call flush_tlb_all when setting pmd entry

Function set_pmd_at is to set pmd entry, if tlb entry need to be flushed, there exists pmdp_huge_clear_flush alike function before set_pmd_at is called. So it is not necessary to call flush_tlb_all in this function. In these scenarios, tlb for the pmd range needs to be flushed: - privilege degrade such as wrprotect is set on the pmd entry - pmd entry is cleared - there is exception if set_pmd_at is issued by dup_mmap, since flush_tlb_mm is called for parent process, it is not necessary to flush tlb in function copy_huge_pmd. Patch series "mm: consolidate definitions of page table accessors", v2. The low level page table accessors (pXY_index(), pXY_offset()) are duplicated across all architectures and sometimes more than once. For instance, we have 31 definition of pgd_offset() for 25 supported architectures. Most of these definitions are actually identical and typically it boils down to, e.g. static inline unsigned long pmd_index(unsigned long address) { return (address >> PMD_SHIFT) & (PTRS_PER_PMD - 1); } static inline pmd_t *pmd_offset(pud_t *pud, unsigned long address) { return (pmd_t *)pud_page_vaddr(*pud) + pmd_index(address); } These definitions can be shared among 90% of the arches provided XYZ_SHIFT, PTRS_PER_XYZ and xyz_page_vaddr() are defined. For architectures that really need a custom version there is always possibility to override the generic version with the usual ifdefs magic. These patches introduce include/linux/pgtable.h that replaces include/asm-generic/pgtable.h and add the definitions of the page table accessors to the new header. This patch (of 12): The linux/mm.h header includes to allow inlining of the functions involving page table manipulations, e.g. pte_alloc() and pmd_alloc(). So, there is no point to explicitly include in the files that include . The __pXd_offset() macros are identical to the pXd_index() macros and there is no point to keep both of them. All architectures define and use pXd_index() so let's keep only those to make mips consistent with the rest of the kernel. MIPS: Add partial 32-bit huge page support

This adds initial support for huge pages to 32-bit MIPS systems. Systems with extended addressing enabled (EVA,XPA,Alchemy/Netlogic) are not yet supported. With huge pages enabled, this implementation will increase page table memory overhead to match that of a 64-bit MIPS system. However, the cache-friendliness of page table walks is not affected significantly. MIPS: mm: fixed mappings: correct initialisation

fixrange_init operates at PMD-granularity and expects the addresses to be PMD-size aligned, but currently that might not be the case for PKMAP_BASE unless it is defined properly, so ensure a correct alignment is used before passing the address to fixrange_init. fixed mappings: only align the start address that is passed to fixrange_init rather than the value before adding the size, as we may end up with uninitialised upper part of the range.
