2008-04-17[ARM] 4987/1: S3C24XX: Ensure watchdog reset initiated from cached code.Ben Dooks1-45/+1
There seems to be some problem with at-least the S3C2440 and bus traffic during an reset. It is unlikely, but still possible that the system will hang in such a way that the watchdog cannot get the system out of the state it is in. Change to making the code that calls the watchdog reset run from cached memory so that instruction fetches have quiesced before the watchdog fires. 2008-01-28[ARM] 4722/1: S3C24XX: Improve output if watchdog reset failsBen Dooks1-3/+6
If the watchdog reset fails and we decided to take the jump to zero approach, allow 50ms for the UARTS to drain the FIFOs before calling into a bootloader that may flush the output. Also reduece the waits and the timeout values as 5 seconds is rather long. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-01-28[ARM] 4721/1: S3C24XX: Ensure watchdog clock is enbaled for hard resetBen Dooks1-0/+11
If the hard reset routine is using the watchdog, then ensure that the clock for the watchdog has been enabled before we try and issue a reset. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-07-22[ARM] 4508/1: S3C: Move items to include/asm-arm/plat-s3cBen Dooks1-1/+1
This patch moves items of the s3c24xx support into a new plat-s3c directory for items that use the s3c24xx support but are not directly s3c24xx compatible, such as the s3c2400 and s3c6400. git mv commands: git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/iic.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/iic.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/nand.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/nand.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-iic.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-iic.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-nand.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-nand.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-rtc.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-rtc.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-serial.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-serial.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-timer.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-timer.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-watchdog.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-watchdog.h Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
