2013-10-02iwlwifi: mvm: new BT Coex APIEmmanuel Grumbach1-0/+1
This is the new API for BT Coex. The full functionality will be implemented in further patches. Note: this disables BT Coex for the currently existing fw (-7 version). There is also a new command - the channel inhibition command. This command tells BT what channels to avoid in order to minimise the interaction between BT and WiFi. We can tell BT about 2 channels, primary and secondary. BT will not tune to primary at all and will avoid secondary as much as possible. This also means that we need to track vifs that AP / GO. So rename iwl_mvm_bt_coex_vif_assoc to iwl_mvm_bt_coex_vif_change to better reflect its real meaning. The firmware supports periodic keep alive and beacon monitoring, so advertise connection monitor offload capability by setting IEEE80211_HW_CONNECTION_MONITOR flag. Implement missed beacons notification handler. Call ieee80211_beacon_loss in case of missed beacons, so AP probing by mac80211 can be triggered. In order to avoid NIC destruction due to high temperature, CT kill will power down the NIC. To avoid this, thermal throttling will decrease throughput to prevent the NIC from reaching the temperature at which CT kill is performed. 2013-02-11iwlwifi: mvm: Update quota settings for all bindingsIlan Peer1-0/+3
The FW scheduler, schedules the bindings over a session of 128 fragments (each is 4 TU long). The quota command should allocate all the session fragments between all the bindings that require quota allocation. Currently, use static allocation, where the fragments are equally distributed between all data bindings. Note, that not allocating all the session's fragments might cause the FW scheduler to leave the medium unused.
