2014-07-31	brcmfmac: Adding msgbuf protocol.	Hante Meuleman	1	-4/+17
	This patch will add the msgbuf protocol. This protocol is used by the soon to be added new bus interface PCIe. Msgbuf is a protocol where most data is and remains located on the host (driver) side and transferred by DMA from and to device. Msgbuf is the protocol which takes care of the signalling of the buffers between host and device which identifies this DMA-able data. 	The soon to be added protocol msgbuf requires information about interface addressing mode and peer deletion. This patch adds the necessary APIs to proto, implements dummy functions in BCDC and adds calls to proto wherever necessary by wl_cfg80211. 2013-12-19	brcmfmac: Combine protocol push hdr and bus txdata.	Hante Meuleman	1	-1/+1
	For the transmission of data a protocol push hdr is performed followed by a bus txdata call. For the new protocol msgbuf this is not workable. Since they are already "loosely" coupled for bcdc protocol they are combined. This means that txdata will go "through" the protocol layer and a seperate protocol push hdr will not be needed anymore. 2013-12-02	brcmfmac: Dynamically register a protocol layer.	Hante Meuleman	1	-0/+62
	BCDC is the default protocol layer and being called directly. This patch installs the functions for this layer dynamically. This allows new protocols to be added and selected dynamically depending on the hw capabilties. As currently only BCDC is supported this is always the installed protocol.
