2014-10-15Drivers: ide: Remove typedef atiixp_ide_timingHimangi Saraogi1-4/+4
The Linux kernel coding style guidelines suggest not using typedefs for structure types. This patch gets rid of the typedef for atiixp_ide_timing. The following Coccinelle semantic patch detects the case: @tn1@ type td; @@ typedef struct { ... } td; @script:python tf@ td << tn1.td; tdres; @@ coccinelle.tdres = td; @@ type tn1.td; identifier tf.tdres; @@ -typedef struct + tdres { ... } -td ; @@ type tn1.td; identifier tf.tdres; @@ -td + struct tdres Signed-off-by: Himangi Saraogi <himangi774@gmail.com> Acked-by: Julia Lawall <julia.lawall@lip6.fr> Signed-off-by: David S. 2013-01-04Drivers: ide: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman1-2/+2
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. Cc: Bill Pemberton <wfp5p@virginia.edu> Cc: "David S. 2009-02-25atiixp: fix missing parenthesesRoel Kluin1-2/+2
Fix missing parentheses so PIO/DMA timings for master device on the second channel are programmed correctly (IOW "8 0 24 16" offset values should be used instead of the current "8 0 16 16"). [ The bug went unnoticed because after PIO/DMA timings get programmed incorrectly for the third device they are overwritten with timings for the fourth device and since BIOS should also program timings for the third device everything should work fine until suspend/resume cycle or user requested transfer mode changes. ] Signed-off-by: Roel Kluin <roel.kluin@gmail.com> Cc: Sergei Shtylyov <sshtylyov@ru.mvista.com> Cc: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> [bart: update patch description] Signed-off-by: Bartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz <bzolnier@gmail.com>
