2011-09-20drm/nouveau: enable hwmon support when both nouveau/hwmon are built as modules.Ken Milmore1-3/+3
The nouveau hwmon temperature support currently only functions when hwmon is compiled into the kernel. There's no reason why this shouldn't also work when both hwmon and nouveau are modularised (as is the case with Slackware's stock kernels). 2011-09-20drm/nouveau/pm: add hooks to get/set *all* clocks at onceBen Skeggs1-0/+11
This is probably better than having to tell the common code about all the clocks that exist on every chipset. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2011-09-20drm/nouveau/pm: allow voltage-only perflvl set, enable nvc0Ben Skeggs1-7/+6
Okay, my card didn't blow up. Lets turn it on! Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2011-09-20drm/nouveau/pm: show any info we can manage to glean on current perflvlBen Skeggs1-23/+25
Previously wouldn't show detected voltage if we couldn't figure out the clock frequencies.. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2011-09-20drm/nouveau/pm: add support for parsing perflvl voltage on fermi chipsBen Skeggs1-8/+16
Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2011-09-20drm/nouveau/pm: store voltage in microvoltsBen Skeggs1-1/+1
Instead of 10s of millivolts, to match fermi vbios. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>

2011-02-17drm/nouveau: fix suspend/resume on GPUs that don't have PM supportBen Skeggs1-1/+1
This has been broken since 2.6.37, and fixes resume on a couple of fermi boards I have access to. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2011-02-02drm/nouveau: correctly pair hwmon_init and hwmon_finiLucas Stach1-1/+1
I broke this with my commit 07cfe0e7a820ecad078c04e9c2a102521709145d This fixes fdo #33434 Signed-off-by: Lucas Stach <dev@lynxeye.de> Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2011-01-07drm/nouveau: fix hwmon device bindingLucas Stach1-2/+1
Bind the hwmon structs to nouveau device kobj. This makes sure the hwmon files are created in the device subdir in line with all other hwmon drivers. Signed-off-by: Lucas Stach <dev@lynxeye.de> Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>

2010-10-05drm/nouveau: pass perflvl struct to clock_pre()Ben Skeggs1-6/+7
On certain boards, there's BIOS scripts and memory timings that need to be modified with the memclk. Just pass in the entire perflvl struct and let the chipset-specific code decide what to do. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2010-10-05drm/nouveau: Import initial memory timing workRoy Spliet1-1/+3
This isn't correct everywhere yet, but since we don't use the data yet it's perfectly safe to push in, and the information we gain from logs will help to fix the remaining issues. v2 (Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>): - fixed up formatting - free parsed timing info on takedown - switched timing table printout to debug loglevel Signed-off-by: Roy Spliet <r.spliet@student.tudelft.nl> Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>

2010-09-24drm/nouveau: Parse old style perf tables.Francisco Jerez1-3/+7
Used on nv17-nv28, they contain memory clocks and timings, only one of the table entries can actually be used, depending on the RAMCFG straps, and it's usually higher than the frequency programmed on boot by the BIOS. The memory timings listed in table version 0x1x are used to init the 0x12xx range but they aren't required for reclocking to work.
