2012-10-01x86, um/x86: switch to generic sys_execve and kernel_execveAl Viro1-1/+0
32bit wrapper is lost on that; 64bit one is *not*, since we need to arrange for full pt_regs on stack when we call sys_execve() and we need to load callee-saved ones from there afterwards. Signed-off-by: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk>

2010-08-14Mark arguments to certain syscalls as being constDavid Howells1-1/+1
Mark arguments to certain system calls as being const where they should be but aren't. The list includes: (*) The filename arguments of various stat syscalls, execve(), various utimes syscalls and some mount syscalls. (*) The filename arguments of some syscall helpers relating to the above. (*) The buffer argument of various write syscalls. Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Acked-by: David S.
