2013-01-29ARM: nomadik: convert SMSC91x ethernet to device treeLinus Walleij4-0/+54
This converts the SMSC91x ethernet controller to use device tree. The existing solution from the board file, to request the GPIO triggering the ethernet IRQ from the board file is kept for the time being, but the GPIO number assignment is moved over to the device tree. This adds the FSMC NAND driver and flash partitions to the Nomadik device tree. The only compatible string accepted by this driver is currently "st,spear600-fsmc-nand" which is inappropriate for this system, so this patch adds the compatible value "stericsson,fsmc-nand" as well. Support basic device tree boot on the Nomadik. Implement the support in the cpu file with the intent of deleting the board files later. At this stage IRQ controllers, system timer, l2x0 cache, UARTs and thus console boot is fully functional. Patch out the code adding devices by initcalls for now so as not to disturb the boot. The I2C pins were still set up using custom nmk_* calls, move these to use the pinctrl mapping table instead. There was also a remaining call to turn the Ethernet pin to GPIO, and this is now done implicitly by the GPIO-to-pinctrl range translation calls. The clockevent core is able to figure out the best mult and shift, calculate min_delta_ns and max_delta_ns, with the necessary info passed into clockevents_config_and_register(). Use this combined configure and register function where possible to make the codes less error prone and gain some positive diff stat. The main points are: 1) Convert arch_gettimeoffset to a pointer, so that architectures with multiple timer implementations can simply set this standard pointer rather than maintaining their own arch-specific pointers for the same purpose. Various architectures are converted to using this new feature. 2) Conversion of ARM timer implementations to use clock_event_devices's suspend/resume operations, rather than the ARM-specific sys_timer versions. Thus, the ARM code begins to use more common infra-structure rather than arch-specific code. 3) Removal of ARM's struct sys_timer completely, now that everything uses common code. 4) Introduction of drivers/clocksource/clksrc-of.c, which allows ARM clock source implementations to be moved into drivers/clocksource, with the need to add SoC-specific header files for each timer initialization function; instead, all enabled implementations are registered into a table which a single core function iterates over, and calls the relevant initialization functions based on device tree. With commit 384a290 (ARM: gic: use a private mapping for CPU target interfaces), wake-up IPIs now go to all cores as the gic cpu interface numbering may not follow core numbering. This broke secondary boot on highbank since the boot address was already set for all secondary cores, this caused all cores to boot before the kernel was ready. Fix this by moving the setting of the jump address to highbank_boot_secondary instead of highbank_smp_prepare_cpus and highbank_cpu_die. Also, clear the address when we boot. This prevents cores from booting before they are actually triggered and is also necessary to get suspend/resume to work. With the addition of commit a0ae0240 (ARM: kernel: add device tree init map function), the cpu reg values must match the cpu mpidr register or we'll get warnings. For some reason, the CLUSTERID on highbank is 9, so the reg value needs to be 0x90n to quiet the warnings.
