2012-05-16ARM: PCI: remove per-pci_hw list of busesRussell King1-1/+0
No one uses the per-hw list of buses, so get rid of this. Instead, build the list locally. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2012-05-13ARM: PCI: provide a default bus scan implementationRussell King1-4/+6
Most PCI implementations perform simple root bus scanning. Rather than having each group of platforms provide a duplicated bus scan function, provide the PCI configuration ops structure via the hw_pci structure, and call the root bus scanning function from core ARM PCI code. 2012-05-13ARM: PCI: get rid of pci_std_swizzle()Russell King1-5/+0
Most PCI implementations use the standard PCI swizzle function, which handles the well defined behaviour of PCI-to-PCI bridges which can be found on cards (eg, four port ethernet cards.) Rather than having almost every platform specify the standard swizzle function, make this the default when no swizzle function is supplied. Therefore, a swizzle function only needs to be provided when there is something exceptional which needs to be handled. This gets rid of the swizzle initializer from 47 files, and leaves us with just two platforms specifying a swizzle function: ARM Integrator and Chalice CATS. 2012-04-26ARM: PCI: remove unused sys->hwRussell King1-1/+0
Some platforms mark their hw_pci structure as __initdata, which means it will be discarded after init time. Storing pointers to __initdata in long lived data structures is a potential source of problems, and in this case, sys->hw is unused apart from its initialization. So, lets remove this member and its initializer. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2012-01-07arm/PCI: convert to pci_scan_root_bus() for correct root bus resourcesBjorn Helgaas1-1/+1
Convert from pci_scan_bus() to pci_scan_root_bus() and remove root bus resource fixups. This fixes the problem of "early" and "header" quirks seeing incorrect root bus resources. 2011-07-22PCI: Make the struct pci_dev * argument of pci_fixup_irqs const.Ralf Baechle1-2/+2
Aside of the usual motivation for constification, this function has a history of being abused a hook for interrupt and other fixups so I turned this function const ages ago in the MIPS code but it should be done treewide. Due to function pointer passing in varous places a few other functions had to be constified as well. 2010-07-17[ARM] PCI: add platform private data to pci_sys_dataSaeed Bishara1-0/+1
Add private_data pointer to the pci_sys_data, this pointer can be used for holding platform specific data for each pci controller. Signed-off-by: Saeed Bishara <saeed@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@fluxnic.net>
2010-04-23ARM: 6058/1: Add support for PCI domainsAnton Vorontsov1-0/+11
This patch adds support for PCI domains on ARM platforms. Also, protect asm/mach/pci.h from multiple inclustions, otherwise build fails because of pci_domain_nr() and pci_proc_domain() redefinitions. 2009-01-07PCI: arm: use generic INTx swizzle from PCI coreBjorn Helgaas1-1/+1
Use the generic pci_common_swizzle() instead of arch-specific code. Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bjorn.helgaas@hp.com> Signed-off-by: Jesse Barnes <jbarnes@virtuousgeek.org>
2008-08-03[ARM] move include/asm-arm to arch/arm/include/asmRussell King1-0/+72
Move platform independent header files to arch/arm/include/asm, leaving those in asm/arch* and asm/plat* alone. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
