2017-05-15ARM: dts: at91: sama5d2: add m_can nodesWenyou Yang1-0/+56
Add nodes to support the Controller Area Network(M_CAN) on SAMA5D2. The version of M_CAN IP core is 3.1.0 (CREL = 0x31040730). As said in SAMA5D2 datasheet, the CAN clock is recommended to use frequencies of 20, 40 or 80 MHz. To achieve these frequencies, PMC GCLK3 must select the UPLLCK(480 MHz) as source clock and divide by 24, 12, or 6. So, the "assigned-clock-rates" property has three options: 20000000, 40000000, and 80000000. The "assigned-clock-parents" property should be referred to utmi fixedly. The MSBs [bits 31:16] of the CAN Message RAM for CAN0 and CAN1 are default configured in 0x00200000. To avoid conflict with SRAM map for PM, change them to 0x00210000 in the AT91Bootstrap via setting the CAN Memories Address-based Register(SFR_CAN) of SFR. git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM Device-tree updates from Olof Johansson: "Device-tree continues to see lots of updates. The majority of patches here are smaller changes for new hardware on existing platforms, and there are a few larger changes worth pointing out. Major new platforms: - Gemini has been ported to DT, so a handful of "new" platforms moved over from board files - Rockchip RK3288 support for Tinkerboard and Phytec phyCORE-RK3288 SoM and RDK - A bunch of embedded platforms, several Linksys platforms, Synology DS116, - Motorola Droid4 (really old OMAP-based phone) support is added. Some refactorings, i.e. Allwinner H3/H5 support is commonalized. And lots of smaller changes, cleanups, etc. See shortlog for more description We're adding ability to cross-include DT files between arm and arm64, by creating appropriate links in the dt-include directory, and using arm/ and arm64/ as include prefixes. This will avoid other local hacks such as per-file links between the two arch trees (this broke for external mirroring of DT contents). Now they can just provide their own appropriate dt-include hierarcy per platform" * tag 'armsoc-dt' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (349 commits) ARM: dts: exynos: Use - instead of @ for DT OPP entries arm: spear6xx: add DT description of the ADC on SPEAr600 arm: spear6xx: remove unneeded pinctrl properties in spear600-evb arm: spear6xx: switch spear600-evb to the new flash partition DT binding arm: spear6xx: fix spaces in spear600-evb.dts arm: spear6xx: use node labels in spear600-evb.dts arm: spear6xx: add labels to various nodes in spear600.dtsi ARM: dts: vexpress: fix few unit address format warnings ARM: dts: at91: sama5d3_xplained: not all ADC channels are available ARM: dts: at91: sama5d3_xplained: fix ADC vref ARM: dts: at91: add envelope detector mux to the Axentia TSE-850 ARM: dts: armada-38x: label USB and SATA nodes ARM: dts: imx6q-utilite-pro: add hpd gpio ARM: dts: imx6qp-sabresd: Set reg_arm regulator supply ARM: dts: imx6qdl-sabresd: Set LDO regulator supply ARM: dts: imx: add Gateworks Ventana GW5903 support ARM: dts: i.MX25: add AIPS control registers ARM: dts: imx7-colibri: add Carrier Board 3.3V/5V regulators ARM: dts: imx7-colibri: remove 1.8V fixed regulator ARM: dts: imx7-colibri: allow to disable Ethernet rail ...
2017-03-06Revert "ARM: at91/dt: sama5d2: Use new compatible for ohci node"Romain Izard1-1/+1
This reverts commit cab43282682e ("ARM: at91/dt: sama5d2: Use new compatible for ohci node") It depends from commit 7150bc9b4d43 ("usb: ohci-at91: Forcibly suspend ports while USB suspend") which was reverted and implemented differently. With the new implementation, the compatible string must remain the same. The compatible string introduced by this commit has been used in the default SAMA5D2 dtsi starting from Linux 4.8. As it has never been working correctly in an official release, removing it should not be breaking the stability rules. 2017-01-10ARM: dts: at91: add dma1 definition to sama5d2Nicolas Ferre1-0/+10
The sama5d2 SoC has a second DMA controller and can be used just like DMA0. By default both DMA controllers are configured as "Secure" in MATRIX_SPSELR so we can use whichever we want in a "single Secure World" configuration. 2016-05-10ARM: dts: at91: sama5d2: use "atmel,sama5d3-nfc" compatible for nfcWenyou Yang1-1/+1
An error in documentation of the NAND Flash Controller (NFC) led to choose another compatibility string for sama5d2 with an impact on the NAND flash ready/busy information. It was producing the error message: atmel_nand 80000000.nand: Time out to wait for interrupt: 0x08000000 and had an impact on performance. So, switch back to the classical "atmel,sama5d3-nfc" compatibility string for this SoC which gives the proper ready/busy bit information. (Specific details on what's actually here and new is pretty easy to tell from the diffstat, so there's little point in duplicating listing it here)" * tag 'armsoc-dt' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (499 commits) ARM: dts: uniphier: add system-bus-controller nodes ARM64: juno: disable NOR flash node by default ARM: dts: uniphier: add outer cache controller nodes arm64: defconfig: Enable PCI generic host bridge by default arm64: Juno: Add support for the PCIe host bridge on Juno R1 Documentation: of: Document the bindings used by Juno R1 PCIe host bridge ARM: dts: uniphier: add I2C aliases for ProXstream2 boards dts/Makefile: Add build support for LS2080a QDS & RDB board DTS dts/ls2080a: Add DTS support for LS2080a QDS & RDB boards dts/ls2080a: Update Simulator DTS to add support of various peripherals dts/ls2080a: Remove text about writing to Free Software Foundation dts/ls2080a: Update DTSI to add support of various peripherals doc: DTS: Update DWC3 binding to provide reference to generic bindings doc/bindings: Update GPIO devicetree binding documentation for LS2080A Documentation/dts: Move FSL board-specific bindings out of /powerpc Documentation: DT: Add entry for FSL LS2080A QDS and RDB boards arm64: Rename FSL LS2085A SoC support code to LS2080A arm64: Use generic Layerscape SoC family naming ARM: dts: uniphier: add ProXstream2 Vodka board support ARM: dts: uniphier: add ProXstream2 Gentil board support ...
