2020-12-19dt-bindings: Fix JSON pointersRob Herring1-3/+3
The correct syntax for JSON pointers begins with a '/' after the '#'. Without a '/', the string should be interpreted as a subschema identifier. The jsonschema module currently doesn't handle subschema identifiers and incorrectly allows JSON pointers to begin without a '/'. Let's fix this before it becomes a problem when jsonschema module is fixed. Converted with: perl -p -i -e 's/yaml#definitions/yaml#\/definitions/g' `find Documentation/devicetree/bindings/ -name "*.yaml"` Cc: Maxime Ripard <mripard@kernel.org> Cc: Jonathan Cameron <jic23@kernel.org> Cc: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Cc: Daniel Thompson <daniel.thompson@linaro.org> Cc: Jingoo Han <jingoohan1@gmail.com> Cc: Pavel Machek <pavel@ucw.cz> Cc: "David S. 2020-04-17dt-bindings: Clean-up schema indentation formattingRob Herring1-2/+2
Fix various inconsistencies in schema indentation. Most of these are list indentation which should be 2 spaces more than the start of the enclosing keyword. This doesn't matter functionally, but affects running scripts which do transforms on the schema files. 2019-12-13dt-bindings: Change maintainer addressMaxime Ripard1-1/+1
While my email address has changed for a while, all the schemas I contributed still have the old one unfortunately. Update it. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime@cerno.tech> Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
2019-11-06dt-bindings: Remove FIXME in yaml bindingsMaxime Ripard1-4/+2
Some binding that were introduced early on got a comment to enable additionalProperties, but we couldn't due to the generic properties being reported as errors. The way we're dealing with this now is to use the draft-08's unevaluatedProperties (even though the tools doesn't do anything with it yet). Let's convert those old bindings to it. 2019-07-27dt-bindings: Fix more $id value mismatches filenamesRob Herring1-1/+1
The path in the schema '$id' values are wrong. Fix them. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
2019-07-03dt-bindings: net: Use phy-mode instead of phy-connection-typeMaxime Ripard1-4/+4
When adding support for the DWMAC (and derivatives) bindings, phy-connection-type was required, even though the previous binding required the equivalent phy-mode. Let's fix this by using phy-mode as we should have. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
2019-06-28dt-bindings: net: sun8i-emac: Convert the binding to a schemasMaxime Ripard1-0/+321
Switch our Allwinner H3 EMAC controller binding to a YAML schema to enable the DT validation. Since that controller is based on a Synopsys IP, let's add the validation to that schemas with a bunch of conditionals.
