2015-06-15mfd: cros_ec: spi: Add a DT property to delay asserting the CSAlexandru M Stan1-0/+4
Some ECs need a little time for waking up before they can accept SPI data at a high speed. Add a "google,cros-ec-spi-pre-delay" property to the DT binding to configure this. If this property isn't set, then no delay will be added. However, if set it will cause a delay equal to the value passed to it to be inserted at the beginning of a transaction. 2015-05-11MFD/OF: document MFD devices and handle simple-mfdLinus Walleij1-0/+41
This defines a new compatible option for MFD devices "simple-mfd" that will make the OF core spawn child devices for all subnodes of that MFD device. It is optional but handy for things like syscon and possibly other simpler MFD devices. Since there was no file to put the documentation in, I took this opportunity to make a small writeup on MFD devices and add the compatible definition there. ti,system-power-controller is more or less the standard way of indicating that the PMIC is the system wide power controller and hence may be used to switch off the system. Almost ALL TI PMIC drivers and many Maxim PMIC drivers follow the same style. So support 'ti,system-power-controller' in addition to the usual 'ti,use_poweroff' to indicate that the PMIC instance has control for switching off the system. 2014-09-26mfd: syscon: Add Atmel GPBR DT bindings documentionBoris BREZILLON1-0/+15
The GPBR block provides a set of battery-backed registers that can be used to save data which need to be kept when the system is powered down and VDD-core is maintained by an external battery. A typical usage is the RTT block (when used as an RTC) which needs one of those registers to save the current time.
