<title>udp6: fix jumbogram reception</title>

Since commit 67a51780aebb ("ipv6: udp: leverage scratch area
helpers") udp6_recvmsg() read the skb len from the scratch area,
to avoid a cache miss.
But the UDP6 rx path support RFC 2675 UDPv6 jumbograms, and their
length exceeds the 16 bits available in the scratch area. As a side
effect the length returned by recvmsg() is:
&lt;ingress datagram len&gt; % (1&lt;&lt;16)

This commit addresses the issue allocating one more bit in the
IP6CB flags field and setting it for incoming jumbograms.
Such field is still in the first cacheline, so at recvmsg()
time we can check it and fallback to access skb-&gt;len if
required, without a measurable overhead.

refcount_t type and corresponding API should be
used instead of atomic_t when the variable is used as
a reference counter. This allows to avoid accidental
refcounter overflows that might lead to use-after-free
situations.

It seems like a historic accident that these return unsigned char *,
and in many places that means casts are required, more often than not.

Make these functions return void * and remove all the casts across
the tree, adding a (u8 *) cast only where the unsigned char pointer
was used directly, all done with the following spatch:

    @@
    expression SKB, LEN;
    typedef u8;
    identifier fn = { skb_push, __skb_push, skb_push_rcsum };
    @@
    - *(fn(SKB, LEN))
    + *(u8 *)fn(SKB, LEN)

    @@
    expression E, SKB, LEN;
    identifier fn = { skb_push, __skb_push, skb_push_rcsum };
    type T;
    @@
    - E = ((T *)(fn(SKB, LEN)))
    + E = fn(SKB, LEN)

    identifier fn = { skb_push, __skb_push, skb_push_rcsum };
    @@
    - fn(SKB, LEN)[0]

Note that the last part there converts from push(...)[0] to the
more idiomatic *(u8 *)push(...).

Commit a149e7c7ce81 ("ipv6: sr: add support for SRH injection through
setsockopt") introduced handling of IPV6_SRCRT_TYPE_4, but at the same
time restricted it to only IPV6_SRCRT_TYPE_0 and
IPV6_SRCRT_TYPE_4. Previously, ipv6_push_exthdr() and fl6_update_dst()
would also handle other values (ie STRICT and TYPE_2).

Restore previous source routing behavior, by handling IPV6_SRCRT_STRICT
and IPV6_SRCRT_TYPE_2 the same way as IPV6_SRCRT_TYPE_0 in
ipv6_push_exthdr() and fl6_update_dst().

<title>ipv6: sr: remove cleanup flag and fix HMAC computation</title>

In the latest version of the IPv6 Segment Routing IETF draft [1] the
cleanup flag is removed and the flags field length is shrunk from 16 bits
to 8 bits. As a consequence, the input of the HMAC computation is modified
in a non-backward compatible way by covering the whole octet of flags
instead of only the cleanup bit. As such, if an implementation compatible
with the latest draft computes the HMAC of an SRH who has other flags set
to 1, then the HMAC result would differ from the current implementation.

This patch carries those modifications to prevent conflict with other
implementations of IPv6 SR.

ktime is a union because the initial implementation stored the time in
scalar nanoseconds on 64 bit machine and in a endianess optimized timespec
variant for 32bit machines. The Y2038 cleanup removed the timespec variant
and switched everything to scalar nanoseconds. The union remained, but
become completely pointless.

Get rid of the union and just keep ktime_t as simple typedef of type s64.

The conversion was done with coccinelle and some manual mopping up.

system call through the IPPROTO_IPV6, IPV6_RTHDR options.

This patch prepares for insertion of SRH through setsockopt().
The new source address argument is used when an HMAC field is
present in the SRH, which must be filled. The HMAC signature
process requires the source address as input text.
